Project introduction:
Development of RADAR system under joint collaboration between KACST, Riyadh and a leading company in UK. A team of 20 Saudi talented engineers supervised and supported by the partner company will develop and upgrade existing radar system with emphasis in reliability and testability. The first 8 months will involve training and designing the system in UK including the project manager. Then, most of the activities will be excited in Riyadh. The project involve installation of Radar lab in Riyadh.

Job Title: Technology Project Manager
Job Description

Individual will be responsible for providing project leadership, cost estimates for project lifecycle, developing and managing project risk and quality assurance, and manage and communicate the status of projects to clients, other team members, and management. Facilitate the engineering development. Procure equipments and tools. supervise radar lab installation.
Responsibilities
· Create required deliverables for all project lifecycle phases, including requirements analysis, specification, cost and resource estimating, project planning and scheduling, implementation, rollout and maintenance.
· Track project progress and report status on a regular basis to others in the organization.
Oversee smooth operation of development projects.
Requirements
· Minimum 8 years experience in leading development projects.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
· Project Management Certification.
· Ability to conscientiously manage and follow up on multiple concurrent tasks, requests and projects on tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills.
· Comfort with Radar hardware and software development.
· Ability to act as a leader on projects to drive team progress and take ownership of complex efforts. Ability to mediate between competing interests and personalities. Ability to suggest solutions, facilitate development and act decisively when necessary to advance a project.
· Familiarity with project management procedures and methodology, especially requirements management and schedule management.
· Good organizational, interpersonal, telephone and analytical skills desired.
· Three years supervisory experience.
