Senior Openview Administrator / Openview Consultant Core Skills Required: Required Experience: • 2+ years experience maintaining OpenView Operations (OVOU and OVOW) • Good experience installing and maintaining MeasureWare • 4+ years of Unix user and/or administration experience • Experience with application Oracle Smart Plug-ins (SPIs) • Good Microsoft skills • Good Unix shell scripting skills (I,e. ksh, bash,csh) . 2+ years experience in Network Node Manager (NNM) . 6+ months Experience in Service Navigator Desired Skills: Network skills: • Knowledge of OSI networking model • Knowledge of TCP networking model . Nortel Solutions is a plus Understanding of relational databases: • Oracle • Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Platforms Experience with UNIX Operating Systems: • HPUX Languages: • Perfect in Shell scripting, good in VB Scripting • PERL Other Products: . Working knowledge of Reporter and Crystal Report . Familiar with Tandem system and OVNM SPI and its integration with OVO Main Function: The HP OpenView Administrator will be responsible for administrating the HP OpenView monitoring framework in a Mission Critical Financial banking Production environment consisting of 500+ nodes. They will work with the Development team to instrument new and existing client systems and applications for event notification to the Site Operations Center (SOC) OpenView console. Experience: Total 5+ years of Unix administration out of 2+ years in Openview suit of products like OVO, NNM, Reporter, Service navigator etc. Qualification: . BS in Computer Science or Equivalent work experience . Professional Certifications are a plus: HP OpenView Certification, HP-UX Certification, MCSE, etc
