| GIP Support Electrician Our Customer is one of the largest players in the Telecom industry. Currently our client is hiring a GIP – Support Electrician and the desired candidate will work alone or under supervision as part of the GIP O&M support team to perform basic reactive and routine maintenance tasks on electrical equipment and systems (such as generators, ATS, 240v/440vAC systems, rectifiers). Main Responsibilities for the role: •Diagnose and resolve basic faults relating to sites including Generators, Rectifiers, electrical systems and associated cabling using basic hand tools. •Basic configuration and testing of Electrical systems using specialist tools. •Perform routine maintenance relating to site equipment, Rectifiers, A/C, ATS and associated cables and equipments. •Takes responsibility for completing work on time and in line with Company QHSE standards. •Reporting progress and documenting all work activities as per defined GIP O&M processes •Assist System Experts to rectify more in depth faults relating to power. •Assist Technicians and System experts with implementation work •Build-up and maintain personal competencies relevant to the GIP products/systems, including familiarity with current and future hardware and software configurations, likely problems and their solutions. •Provide competence development through OJT to GIP staff as defined in the training plans. •Knowledge in working with Key Performance Indicators (KPI) •KPIs define a set of values used to measure against. 1.Meeting defined Support Service Levels 2.Follow defined processes and procedures 3.Customer satisfaction 4.Regular updating of trouble tickets This position requires: •(ATS, 240v/440vAC systems, rectifiers) Support Experience •Attended product training or has previous OJT experience. •Carry out ALL work in accordance with the Company/GIP QHSE policies/procedures. •Cable termination experience •Portrays a level of confidence when discussing technical matters with customers. •Understands own limitations and escalates to management when assistance is required. •Recognized electrical qualifications •Bachelors Degree Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
