Looking for consultatns with Experience in engineering or operations for a company providing wireline, wireless, and/or cable service, including specific experience of OSS/BSS systems Major Responsibilities & Functions: The position will have primary responsibility for gaining and maintaining an in depth understanding of the OSS systems in STC, their interfaces and process workflows. The Client Consultant working together with the Account Team will; · Develop potential projects to achieve efficiencies and reduce expenses associated with providing and maintaining service to their customers. · Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior executives and other levels of management in STC. · Interact with STC executives to identify critical business needs, presenting Telcordia capabilities and offers. Work with Telcordia personnel to generate proposals and contracts that address these needs and serving as the Telcordia primary technical solution architect in the account and be the point of contact for matters relating to work performed under these Telcordia contracts. · Candidate must be hands on, self motivated and able to work as part of the overall technical delivery team producing the required deliverables. · Gain and maintain in depth understanding of Telcordia capabilities, products, offers and case studies so that know-how can be leveraged to find new projects and revenue. This position reports to the STC Account Director. The location of this position is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and may require travel within the Middle East region with occasional trips to the USA. Qualifications · Significant, proven experience in engineering or operations for a company providing wireline, wireless, and/or cable service, including specific experience of how OSS/BSS systems underpin day to day operations. · Deep knowledge of Telco operations business processes, with a good understanding of communications technology, domains, transport, systems, particularly in new & emerging NGN technologies, and familiarity with TMForum Standards. Familiarity with service provider operating metrics and financials. · Ability to develop and maintain strong executive and middle management relationships. Excellent customer interaction skills required, particularly the ability to really understand the customers current business operations and processes in depth. Proven experience and familiarity in dealing at the executive “C” Level. It will be particularly helpful if the candidate has current executive level relationships with the STC account. · Aptitude for formulating potential solutions and associated value propositions to effectively address operations problems identified from benchmarking analysis and operational reviews, envision and present these end to end solutions. · Degree level education in appropriate engineering discipline. · Strong organization skills, effective oral & written communications and negotiation skills. · It is mandatory the candidate is fluent in written and oral English. Arabic language skills will be a real advantage.
