Draftsman - Storage Tanks and Pressure Vessels Qualification, Experience and Skills Required: Diploma in drafting in Civil/Mechanical engineering. Min. 5 years experience, of which 2-3 years of steel detailing and 1-2 years of X-steel experience Knowledge of detailing of steel structures, detailing standards and references, and good practice in detailing, with special reference to storage tanks, pressure vessels and similar products in petrochemical industry. Capable of preparing plans, sections & elevations from designer's sketches, specifications, standard practices and manuals Capable of using drafting techniques in producing shop-drawings Good exposure to drawing process, checking process, correcting process and revising process in structural drafting. Conversant with various symbols used in structural drafting; conversant with various structural steel sections Capable of Computer Aided Drafting and equipment. 3-D modelling is desirable.
