Project Scheduler & Controller VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India. VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Project Scheduler & Controller for our Saudi Arabia operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Skill Set required: I. JOB SUMMARY To provide effective Schedule monitoring / Analysis & cost estimation service II. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Monitor the cost & progress of the projects based on pre-defined budget & plan. • Monitor plan and cost of projects and provide status report • Master project scheduling skills using tools such as Primavera OR MS Project to produce a comprehensive plan for all IT projects. • Report achieved/missed milestones. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Monitor plan and cost of projects and provide status report to management. • Ability to coach, train and guide employee to gain the knowledge of project management skills • To help in establishing the required project methodology, policy and procedures to execute IT projects • To calculate SV/SPI & CV/CPI for potential projects. • Measures work performance against engineering work standards • Measure work progress. • Develop sample work breakdown structure. • Develop activities. • The candidate should have the required skills to manage, control and monitor projects and programs and has an IT working experience. III. ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS/ LICENSES • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • PMP certified IV. RELATED EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES / SKILLS Experience • 10 years experience in Project Management. • Minimum 5 years experience in IT services. Skills • Excellent Project Management Skills, PMP certified • Mastering Premevera and MS Project software. • Expert in projects scheduling and controlling. • Ability to train and trasfire knowledge to employees • Excellent communication skills • Project Costing Skills • Excellent documentation skills. Competencies • Customer Service: Understand and satisfy customer’s requirements • Commitment: Put organizational needs before personal needs when necessary to achieve agreed objectives. • Proactive: Anticipate actions that need to be taken before they become urgent and suggest to others the need for action. • Reliability: Perform own role in a timely manner according to set objectives and standards without the need for detailed control. • Analytical Skills: Identify critical data and establish findings and key-ratios. • IT Hardware Knowledge: Demonstrate basic understanding of specific hardware functionality and operations by identifying and troubleshooting hardware problems • IT Security Knowledge: Understand and comply with security policies and procedures. • IT Systems Knowledge: Understand, interpret and implement existing systems. Trouble-shoot problems and advises others in own work area. Terms and conditions: Joining time frame : 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks) The selected candidates shall join VAMSYSTEMS- Saudi Arabia and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organization in Saudi Arabia.
