Technical Manager Have you had enough of the gloomy UK weather and economic outlook? Have you considered working in the Middle East? Saudi Arabia is a country where development is still booming and able to offer a prospering economy. Our client, a leading global transport and engineering services company, is currently looking for a talented Technical Manager to provide strategic and technical guidance to Regional Project Delivery Teams and liaise with the management teams of the Investor Consortiums of a high profile Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) project in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for the development, implementation and enforcement of program-wide systems engineering policies and the quality management procedures for the development of products and life cycle processes. You will be a qualified Project Manager with several years experience overseeing Technical design, delivery and quality of complex progress. You will have an excellent knowledge of Systems Engineering, General IT (Analysis and Design), Verification and Validation and Project Management and an excellent knowledge of the implementation of applicable IEEE/IEE/EIA standards. ITS knowledge is an absolute necessity. English and/or Arabic language skills are desirable. We seek the type of individual who can keep their finger on the pulse, have the ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and will feel comfortable solving problems that may be outside their area of expertise. You will have as a minimum a Bachelors Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Telecommunications.
