Regional ITS Engineer Saudi Arabia offers a prospering economy and is a country where development is still booming. We have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of an innovative, high profile Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) project for which a leading global transport and engineering professional service provider has asked us to source talented individuals. Working client-side, the Regional Technical Lead will take responsibility for leading the co-ordination and integration of all technical related systems and Quality Control across a geographic region. Essentially, the successful candidate will have a BSc in Engineering or an IT discipline, and first hand knowledge of working in an ITS environment and multi-disciplinary projects. You will have knowledge of the principles of traffic enforcement systems and software for automatic number plate recognition systems along with experience of testing technical installations, calibration of measurement equipment and the certification processes. Your communication skills will be second to none and you will have an understanding of how to communicate sensitive information tactfully. You will be an experienced people manager and have the ability to effectively utilise each team member to their full potential. Essentially the successful candidate needs to be highly ‘results focussed’ with a ‘can do attitude’.
