CORROSION ENGINEER INSPECTION & CORROSION Div Responsibilities: 1.Plans, schedules and provides work direction for contract employees. 2.Provides technical support to Operations, Maintenance and project engineering, construction department in resolving problems concerning in his profession. 3. Makes frequent visits to operation libraries. sites of maintenance projects to collect operating and design technical data for static equipment and structures in KJO production facilities. 4. Ensures adequately trained and certified personnel are available to meet the workload. 5. Ensures inspection history and technical and data records (electronic, databases and hard copy) are compiled and maintained 6. Stays abreast of the latest developments in equipment inspection / engineering standard's, codes, practices, procedures, methods, and inspection equipment as applicable. 7. Assists supervisor of operations inspection section in highly assessments for T&I interval study up-grading of T&I contract system and developing new standards of improving existing procedures as required. MINIMEM REQUIREMENTS. A. B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline and 10 years of direct related engineering and inspection with at least 3 years in supervision of engineering and inspection work. Required Qualification: 1. ASNT level III ( American Society for Non-Destructive Mechanical Testing) in at least two methods or API-510 certification or equivalent. 2. Enrolment in Risk-Based-Assessment (RBA)courses and contract courses is preferable. 3. Minimum of 2-years experience in maintenance and operation of oil & gas industries. B. Must be able to read ,write and speak English Fluently. C. Must be computer literate with competence in Microsoft-Office Products. D. Driving License
