| Analyst, Accounting System GENERAL SUMMARY Assists concerned working units in orderly closing of monthly and annual accounts, do trouble shooting operations for FAD employees and employees of other departments. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Maintain existing system functionality while initiating new SAP feature in the FI/CO module 2. Support end users in trouble shooting and analysis and authorization needs relative to FI/CO 3. Develop and maintain documentation of configuration, business process procedures, training materials and application design specifications 4. Participate as the technical expert in the identification, design, configuration, testing, and debugging of the FI/CO module. 5. Work with business areas to understand problems and requirements with the system and recommends and develops specifications to resolve them. 6. Prepare detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms. 7. Work with the business to identify, plan and build business cases for SAP implementation project in the FICO area. 8. Work with business and IT team members to implement the solutions, including blueprint, configuration, testing, training, and post-implement support across all sub-modules in FICO. 9. Identify and resolve project-related issues. 10. Facilitate team meeting and discussions in various project phases and work with external consultants 11. Analyze business processes and recommend SAP FI/CO best practices, including providing conceptual and detailed designs. 12. Follow all design work and integration testing procedures, change control procedures, uses standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work. 13. Perform integration testing to insure that new functionality and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality 14. Responsible for SAP implementation rollout projects and post implementation support 15. Coordinate with internal auditors in closing out of observations relating to system weaknesses. INDEPENDENCE OF OPERATIONS Determines work method from alternative existing methods in accordance with established policies and processional standards. Completed assignments are subject to subsequent review by Senior Accounting Analyst and Manager. PHYSICAL EFFORT & WORK ENVIRONMENT Normally work in an air-conditioned office environment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1. B.A. in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent PLUS certification in accounting system 2. years experience in accounting system implementation and trouble shooting. 3. English skills-in alignment with HRD’s criteria for applicable grade code. 4. Good PC skills in MS office Excel, Word and PowerPoint | |
