Systems Security Engineer Must be ARAB national: Systems Security Engineer Jon Function: Systems Security Engineer Specialization: Computer networks, security, CISCO Industry: Cement Manufacturing Qualification: Bachelors in Science / Engineering Experience: 8 years in systems security & audit Level: middle Location: Arar, Northern Borders Region, Saudi Arabia Key Skills: Security audits, CISCO written & communications skills, coaching Job Description: A Systems Engineering background is required CCDP, CCNP or CISSP certifications are desired or are able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience. The candidate will lead a team which works with intrusion detection system, firewalls, network routers, and switches, add / drop multiplexers Windows 2003, Windows XP, Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Following are the duties Responsibility in diagnosing and resolving OS System problems, ensuring that account is taken of agreed levels of service and the needs for quality, security, availability and safety, utilizing appropriate specialized techniques, tools, methods or standards Takes high responsibility in reviewing OS System statistics, identifying trends in traffic flow and levels of service and proposes capacity changes as required Creates and coordinates implementation plans for OS System disaster recovery for organization's existence and the information system Reports results of business impact and IS OS System security risk analysis and recommend corrective actions Update the OS System Risk Factors Chart Update the Risk Tracking Control Well defined disaster recovery plan with a realistic recommendation Establishes, coordinates, and ensures courses of action to resolve OS System performance / capacity problems and monitors system product development together with overall industry capacity Supervises the periodical check on all servers for patches / critical updates and ensues that all servers / systems are patched up to current approved security levels Provide hardening documents for databases, systems and web servers and ensure they are implemented Supervises the design, administration and support of e-mails to reduce spam mail as well as prevent introduction of viruses to banks network via email Supervises the design, administration and support of the network to avoid intrusions Investigates network irregularities and issues from users related to security and follows up to resolve issues Experience with HP blade servers is advantage .
