| Production Manager Al Rushaid, based in Al-Khobar is a prominent and leading Saudi owned company operating nationally and internationally, principally involved in construction, engineering, manufacturing, trading, real estate and technology. Al Rushaid, owners of Cleveland Bridge UK Ltd, are in the process of building a modern purpose built fabrication facility in the support and light industry section near Jubail. The new company, Cleveland Bridge Steel will specialise in the engineering, design and production of structural steel and prefabricated components. Principal clients will be from the oil and gas industry, power, and water and civil construction companies in the Gulf regions. Using the latest in high tech equipment and manufacturing techniques its goal is to become a strategic player for all major oil and gas and infra structure projects in the Gulf region. We are now seeking to appoint the General Manager and Production Manager to initially oversee the construction of the facility, installation of the equipment and systems, recruitment of key staff, and then to manage the operation of the fabrication facility. General Manager Reporting to the Board you will have overall responsibility for the operations, quality, financial and contractual performance, as well as for the personnel and physical assets. The ideal candidate will have strong management and leadership capabilities, be personable and effective in dealings with all stakeholders, and be capable of managing the sustainable growth of the business. Production Manager Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the factory manufactures to specification and on budget, maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management, generating and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and maintaining the highest standards of employee relations. The Candidates Experience of operating at senior management levels within the manufacturing or engineering construction industry is essential, Middle East experience preferred. The roles involve being prepared to travel within Saudi Arabia and overseas as required. The Package The positions offer extremely competitive remuneration packages – tax-free expatriate salary together with benefits package including furnished housing, company car, private health care and annual bonus. Interviews will initially be conducted in London, and selected candidates will be asked to visit the factory site for familiarisation prior to taking up the appointment. | |
