Our client is one of the world’s largest and most successful integrated communications companies. The Group offers enhanced mobile, fixed line, television and Internet services to customers. The Group has operations worldwide in Europe, Asia, US and Africa.

We are currently recruiting for their operations in Riyadh a:

Account Manager UAE / Business Development Manager – Jeddah

Key responsibilities

- Create new business relationships by introducing new products and services and develop existing ones.
- Report to the Regional Sales Manager. Accurately forecast sales opportunities and revenue expectations weekly.
- Develop multi-level and multi-functional relationships (CEO, CFO, CIO and Business Unit Leaders) to drive solutions that are innovative and provide value/benefit relative to the customer’s respective business needs; deepen and widen relationships with a longer term focus.
- Facilitate meetings between Equant executives and customer executives.
- Produce the commercial and technical offers in cooperation with the internal support team.
- Negotiate contract’s Terms and Conditions with customers.
- Improve Equant brand awareness in close cooperation with Country Management and Marketing Department.
- Prepare regular analysis of competitor activity to understand market direction and potential impact on customer relationship.
- Identify and implement the appropriate organizational framework for Sales & Marketing in the territory.
- Manage direct and indirect sales strategies through managing current indirect channels. Provide and coordinate the support needed by a channel to build indirect sales revenues.
- Primary point of contact for assigned customers’ day to day account activities in order to maintain and enhance strong customer relationships.
- Develop a roadmap with the customer that facilitates progression towards or closure of contracts (network services, solution sets, IS procurement, value added surround services) and ensure the delivery is in line with the contract.
- Support sales staff by pro actively generate pricing quotes, proposals bids.
- Assist Purchasing Department in negotiations with local vendors and when necessary in close cooperation with Legal Department and Pre-Sales Solution Consultants.
- Interface with other functions and corporate departments including business support, regional operations, engineering, project management, vendors, product marketing, international regulatory affairs and finance.


Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications from a reputable university
- MBA is a plus
- A minimum of 8+ years sales experience within GCC region, in a multinational environment or in one of the big systems integrators or Telecom service provider or IT outsourcing companies with a proven sales track record.
- Strong background in account planning, proposal creation and delivery, combined with proactive customer management skills.
- Global, Multi-cultural working.
- Financial approach.
- Analytical thinking ability without losing the full picture.
- Ability to sell to and negotiate with multi-levels.
- Ability to multi-task, including working with many customer prospects while focusing on new sales and customer satisfaction oriented.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Professional appearance and a level of ‘presence’ to gain acceptance with high level contacts.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Positive attitude, be committed, resilience, and be achievement oriented.
- Creative, positive approach to indirect channel
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Skills to lead, motivate and coach
- PC/ pack Office automation literate; experienced with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication capabilities including interpersonal, oral, written, telephone, and presentation skill.
- Languages are Arabic and English (French is a plus).
